    Default Baked Sculpins

    Baked Sculpins

Alot of people have asked me how I prepare my Sculpins, so I'm posting it for all of you. Hope it turns out ok for you all.

6 pieces of sculpins (usually small)
    4 tablespoons of light mayonniase
    4 tablespoons of soft margarine
    3 tablespoons of garlic powder
    1 tablespoon of pepper
    2 tablespoons of basil
    1 tablespoon of paprika
    3 teaspoons of salt

Preheat oven at 300. With a basting brush, i lightly brush both mayo and margarine over the fish. I place the fish in a baking dish and sprinkle salt first over the fish (on both sides of the fish). Then sprinkle garlic powder, then pepper, then basil, and lastly paprika. I found that sometimes a light squeeze of lemon over the top layer of the fish is also good, but your choice. These bad boys cook fast so before sticking them in the oven, lower your heat down to 245. Bake for 15 min then flip them over. Bake for a final 12 min and they should be done.

    Enjoy !!
