Hey fellow fishermen
I've been here for about a week and just realized I never introduced myself.
I am a young (21) freshwater fisher named David Dance (Possibly related to Bill Dance, eh?) I used to get skunked on Largemouth Bass in my teens everywhere I went (except my old honeyhole, more on that later), even when everyone around me is catching huge fish and I am using the same bait, technique, and line.
I joined to make new fishing buddies, hopefully improve my catch, and discuss our local waters. I have already made some friends who gave me some very nice Puddingstone tips in the few days I have been here.
Just got back into the sport after 5 or so years. I live near where Covina, Glendora, and San Dimas all meet and call Puddingstone my home lake.
It used to be San Gabriel Reservoir before they drained it. We had a honey hole across from the shooting range that would pull up 2-6 pound LMB on just about any lure you could cast. Anyone been to San Gabriel lately? I know there is still some water by the dam and wonder if it worth the trip up there.
