    Default 1st Lobster from Ventura Pier

    Finally, I caught/hooped the illusive Ventura bug that people said inhabited the area. I was beginning to doubt the reports! I have regularly caught/hooped rock crabs from here, at times filling entire ice chests full of legal sized crabs, but never before a lobster. The lobster weighed in at 2.4lbs and was delicious! (I used Bonita for bait) I Hope to catch somemore before the season ends!
