Thanks !! ha ha ha It's kinda funny .... I have a strict attitude toward perps that pull this crap IF ... IF I don't know them or they act like they can take over a spot .... BUT ..... a fishing buddy or if a guy is low-key, respects my spot there, and is out of the way when I'm ready to fish MY SPOT .... I have no problem with them trolling to their hearts contents.

It would be funny as heck to hear the guys that pull some of the stuff try to defend their actions. I think they've got more brains than to try no matter how much of an alpha dog they think they are !!

Anyway .... trolling is but a very small part of the overall fishing methods used on a 1/2 or 3/4-day local boat so ....... it's just mostly that odd trip when a bunch of bigger-boat hot-shots or commercial guys on a holiday go SLUMIN' on our home moo-moos that any hassles occur.

One thing I can figure for sure ...... if I whack a practice I dislike but is wrong but common .... in my reports, the number of hits and responses (on one board) gets cut in half of the average!! That kinda ... tells ya something !!

And yes, I will play nice with the boyz, :) :) :)

NIce report and great consise yet detailed format.

You probably posted this a zillion times, but what line test do you use when fishing with plastics and do you add any weights to the line, or do you just use the weight of the lead head.

I fish nothing but 12 and 15 mono for everything be it Sandbass or YFT !! I have also started using braid 30lb-test which I love ... Professional Pro, Red line.

Generally I fish top to bottom .....mainline, swivel, leader, splitring, leadhead, and plastic!

Fish mostly leadhead except for:

finess- Carolina rig leadhead + sliding egg or just sliding egg)

deep- Texas rig (added weight)
