    Default Northern Mainer

    Hey guys, and girls. Im Mike, 25 yrs old, and a Marine at 29. Im new to the SolCal fishing experience. From NorMaine, haha, where I bass fished once. I fished for trout in streams and lakes all the time and had good luck. So fishing isn't a new thing to me. Been to Perris and Lake Isabella once with my fishing buddy, Matt. Not much luck at all at either place. Thinkin about hittin up Big Bear this weekend. Been trying everything in my box. Jigs, plastics, spinners, crawlers, just not gettin em. Any hints on fishin SoCal?

    Unfortunately, there is way more fisherman around here than places to fish. Our waters get hammered! But, if you keep trying, eventually you will figure something out that the fish are not wise to. That's the name of the game.
