    Default Lake help

    Hello,
I am coming up to Alameda to take my god son fishing for his first time in Feb no exact date yet. I don't know the area so can someone please let me know any lakes in the area for trout or cat? Thank you.

    Try lake Chabot.
Never fished it when I lived in alameda, but sure wish I would have tried now. I'll hit it on the next visit!

Chabot is decent. Ill still swear by losvaqueros res. Lots of fish there and not too affected by the rains. dont mean to beat a dead horse because i have posted this site a few times on here but check out http://www.norcalfishing.net lots of good info. Another good one is Shadow cliffs res in Pleasanton.
