It's a cool lake to tube/kickboat. Been there a bunch of times. Always catch fish. Mostly all spotted bass.

That tourney sucked BTW. I think the guy that won had 3 fish for a little over 4 pounds...and one of those was over 3.

Ouch...Doesn't make blankin' feel so bad, eh? I can't believe how bad it's been there. I've been there at all times of the year and never caught less that 5 or more...on a tube or kickboat.

I went up for three days on the 22nd. Fished main lake points, south facing shoreline, secondaries in the fingers, sheer drop offs the first day for nothing. It wasn't until we found a steady bite at the camp ground marina that we started catching fish. We caught about 17 keepers on small 4" curly tail robo worms in grape/black and green weinny with red flake on a splitshot. After that the weather fell apart on us. We got out for about 1/2 hr on saturday and zero hours on sunday.

The fished were stacked up thru out the lake on secondaries at about 30-60' suspended. The fish we caught at the marina were females that looked to be staging in 4-6' of water adjacent to 1-2' of water. The next day they moved off due to cold weather and winds.
