Hey guys,
Just a quick question for a LCFM 110 newb. What's the best method for getting it down to the bottom if the tide is up? Sliding sinker (if so, how long of a leader?)? Dropshots?
Thanks in advance!

drop shot or maybe c-rig
I occasionally use lead tape on hardbaits.
I wouldn't recommend any lead unless you don't mind losing it....
I just fish it as is.
it's quite dangerous to fish the LC at the bottom.. very high chance that it'll get stuck on things other than a fish!
but if you really want to do it, here's an idea:
reverse dropper loop with a 2oz torpedo. tie the LC to the loose end with about 2-3 ft of line. use a slow retrieve to keep the LC swimming in a straight line at the bottom. middle retrieve to have the LC swimming up the water column. or crank fast a few times then drop to zig-zag the LC back up.
i've never tried it before but a friend of mine did catch a YELLOW using a LC with a big sinker draggin behind the boat.
g'luck!
uandme you going with us this weekend dude on the overnighter?
