Some of my highlights from the year 2007 (LARGE POST!)

Only fish I ever caught before this year was rainbow trout and one brook trout in the Sierras, and maybe a few bluegills form the park pond when I was a kid. this year, I had many firsts, including my first bass. Will probably be adding more photos later. Gotta go fishing today :lol: Here's to a great 2008! :beer:

I tell you what. I forgot how much of a battle this one was.
If anyone knows how bad the Zebco 11 sucks and how hard the catfish at Silverwood fight, you can truly appreciate this catch right here :lol:
I must have fought that sucker for a good couple minutes while adjusting the shoddy drag and hoping line twist wouldn't break me off. The cheesy rod it came on was bendo and the fish ran me all over a point. Had another one, one time like that on my Sahara that spooled me too off the same point. Those wood kitties are fiesty! That was the first and last fish I ever caught on that zebco :lol:
