That 4lber! I was using 4lb maxima green line and I swear I broke off the line every other cast that day. that line broke just tying the knot! I was pissed! Finally I stuck the chovie on and threw it in 15 feet of water and went to work the worm on the other side of the point. All the sudden Skyler and Vg are goin "dude, get you're rod!" I looked over and said "set the hook! set the hook for me!" They said "we don't need to"! I was like whaaaa?? :?: :shock:

I walk over and my ultralight rod is doubled in the holder peeling line like crazy. :banana: VG said he thought a whale took the bait. Picked it up and set the hook for good margin, and all the sudden I feel a "ping!"
Looked down and my freakin spool was empty on a crappy spool of line! Started fighting the fish with my body and my hand as a drag and we all thought this was some 8lb fish. after another few minutes and Skyler jumped in the water to get it, it was this 3.9lb catfish or something :lol: Thing was on a rampage like a freight train and pulled at least 100 yrds of line or more on a snug drag. That was a good time right there man, I was freakin out. Thought I Was gonna lose that fish for sure. :lol:
