209lbs. hooked an over the rail in less then 15min. GREEN ! AVET TREX wit 100LB. mono....deckhand hit it with a baseball bat 4x and it was still flopping, so i stuck it between the eyes with a icepick and clubed it a few more x.

thanks, Awesome 10 day trip, i'll never forget.


jackpot was the guy in the red shorts, 272lb.


a guy on this boat trip farmed a 300lb +, i felt bad for him, he fought it for over an hour an half, he was using spectra with a 6ft fluoro top, i'll stay with my 100lb. str8 mono, as captain Mark P. told me set up with day 1.
