    Default fish stocking schedual

    hey, im planning another trip up to bishop on the weekend of may 27 and i wanted to see if there are any alper plants or dfg's that weekend, thanks

    since that is a major holiday weekend, the chances are it will be stocked heavily a few days before you get there.

    If there are any lakes having some type of contest during that weekend, I would say that is probably where they will be putting some of the alpers.

    DFG will plant for sure. Alpers plants on Fridays, but the locations vary depending on the week and who paid for the fish

    Alpers plants his fish throughout the week not just on Fridays.

    Last year he dropped about 45 fish in at Gull on a Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning I got a 5.5, 8.11 and lost one at shore around 12 lbs or so.

    I'm sure you'll catch fish regardless, just remember to take all your trash out with you wherever you go.
