Steelhead on the Feather River

I will be going up to fish the feather in mid December. Anybody fish the feather River this year and know how good the winter run is? I will be fishing for steelhead with spinning gear. Have fished it many years ago but it has been a while so any tips you guys can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Look up EZ-Eggs - great for drift fishing on spinning gear.


I assume you will be drift fishing or float fishing?

Any information you can get on a guy named Bill Herzog will lend you some great tactics on steelie fishing.
