    going to a bon fire wanna get a line wet anybody know what is biting and what to use

    yeah don't go till saturday or sunday since the surf is realy wild right now
    you don't wana be like the other poor couple that were swept by the
    waves yesterday.

    sand crabs and blood worms for BSP and silver and blue crocks for halibuttt or swim baits

    You can also try the Gulp Sand Worms by Berkley (Camo). They work for most fish that live in the surf including halibut. The key is to have a variety. I agree with fishncrave, the croc is a good choice and I always carry some darter jig heads for throwing a swimbait. I will use a lighter jig head in calm conditions but the surf will probably still be above average over the weekend so it would be best using a 3/8-1/2oz jig head. Good luck.
