Default Is Manhattan Beach a waste for halibut?

I have fished this beach a lot, and have always had luck there. In the summer I have caught many corbina and my PB, and have had awesome days in the winter for perch. The only thing I have never seen or caught there is a halibut. Has anybody caught any halibut from the beach here, or am I just wasting my time? Thanks.

I've caught a few there, but I wouldn't call it great. I've had more success at Torrance and Docweiler. Try in the wash that forms around the small jetties. For some reason Hermosa seems to hold more halibut than Manhattan, even though they're basically the same stretch of beach.
