Mohave Narrows Derby!

For in line at about 9:00 on Friday night. Gates opened up at 6:00 and couldn't fish until 7. Started down in the middle of the lake. Started dropshotting a pink/white trout king worm. Missed several times just couldn't hook them. Didn't get any more hits so I made my way to the dam where my uncle was. It was only 8:30 and he was going home cuz he had no luck. Well 2 minutes after he left I hooked up on a BIG one! Well after fighting him and bringing him in he was only 8.4. I thought he was going to be bigger. Well I ended up getting 3rd. I only won a dam hitachi Drill for 3rd! I'm only 16 I guess I will just sell it. I also caught a 4.3 which got me 15th. I won 50$ cash for that. 15th was better than 3rd in my opinion haha. My stringer ended up weighing probably about 16 lbs. I got a 8.4,4.3,2.9, and 2 1 lbers. Good day! Top 3 fish were 9.2, 9.0 and 8.4. I got most of my fish using the good ol' trout teasers.
