Does anybody still fish Coachella Canal ?

If so what parts are legal to fish ?

Yes, people do still fish it. It is posted all along the canal as "No Trespassing", or something like that, but the only place I've seen people kicked out was in the Indio city limits area. And I don't think they do that any more. I see guys fishing near Slab City every once in a while. And else where along the canal. A Coachella Valley Water employee told me, a couple of years ago, that the signs were put up for liability for them. So in essence, yes, it is fished all the time. But there is no for sure answer if it is 100% legal. Fish at your own risk, I guess. Sorry, that's the best I could do.

it is certainly illegal to fish the coachella canal. The nearby highline canal is legal and has stripers.
