Cucamonga-Guasti 3/30/18

Hello,

Took my wife and son out for a morning of fishing. It was a very slow morning, only one bite in 2 1/2 hours on a pink and white mouse tail dipped in garlic sauce. Saw one fish landed in the morning. I hooked a big trout at about the three hour mark, it fought great and won the battle. My son almost netted it, looked like at least a 2 pounder. It saw the net and went deep hard and fast, my drag was too tight for the 2 pound test leader and I was left with a slack line when it broke.
It was great being out with my wife and son that was the rewarding part of the day.

As we were leaving some other fishermen told us the lake was fished out the day before with a lot of people catching quick limits. I thought the lake was closed on the day they stocked. Saw a sign in the window that the last stocking of trout is scheduled for next week.
