Lake Mohave -- Katherin'es Landing or Cottonwood Cove?

Heading to Lake Mohave next week, and trying to decide which area has the better bass fishing Katherine's Landing or Cottonwood Cove. I've heard from both sides but nothing concrete. I'm not sure I want to make the long runs because I hear the wind can be brutal. My son and I just started bass fishing a year and a half ago, and we've never been there. Not looking for your secret spots, just which area is generally better for bass. Thanks in advance for any help.

You can't go wrong on either end. I always see it as summertime Cottonwood, Winter time katherines.

Ended up camping at Cottonwood, but I think we fished closer to Katherine's. Fishing was tough, but it's a beautiful lake!

Good trip? Definitely one of my favorite spots.
