Another dissapointing post-trout stock

A fair number of folks showed up at 5:30 am, in the rain, to fish the post-trout stock striperfest this morning. There were maybe half a dozen private boats and some rentals in the ramp 2 area with Hudds, Lunker Punkers, BBz's and various topwaters. There were some fish caught, but nothing out of the ordinary. I always get excited when a trout plant is happening, but the last couple years have been anticlimactic. It was a beautiful day though and the bite was fair.
