Lake Arrowhead tips for this weekend

Good afternoon everyone,

I'm going to stay up at a cabin either this weekend or next and I will have the membership passes, so I am most likely going to go down the fishing dock near the ALA building once again.

I had a couple of questions and if anyone could answer any of those questions, it would be extremely helpful.

1) Around this time of year, what is the best set-up for trout? Also, how far should I cast out?

2) Besides the dock near the ALA building (which has a brutal flight of stairs you need to climb down/up to access), is there any good spots to fish if you have the pass?

3) What are the best hours to fish during this time of the year?
