The current and former officials said they have also determined that China is seeking to use what it is learning from the calls — how Mr. Trump thinks, what arguments tend to sway him and to whom he is inclined to listen — to keep a trade war with the United States from escalating further. In what amounts to a marriage of lobbying and espionage, the Chinese have pieced together a list of the people with whom Mr. Trump regularly speaks in hopes of using them to influence the president, the officials said.

The Chinese have identified friends of both men and others among the president’s regulars, and are now relying on Chinese businessmen and others with ties to Beijing to feed arguments to the friends of the Trump friends. The strategy is that those people will pass on what they are hearing, and that Beijing’s views will eventually be delivered to the president by trusted voices, the officials said. They added that the Trump friends were most likely unaware of any Chinese effort.

I'll admit the iPhone story and the Chinese didn't do anything for me. So I have nothing to say on the subject. However, the sexual allegations against Justice Kavanaugh is another story.

I will admit the girl who said about the gang rape party's on the surface, does seem a little far fetched. Only a through investigation by the FBI (which didn't happen) who have shed some light on "that subject."

When it comes to Doctor Ford testimony that's a different subject. (once again a through investigation would have been nice) I'll just say this, in playing the odds, victims of rape rarely get the perpetrator wrong!

Steelhead obviously didn't read this article about traumatic memories. She wasn't lying. She remembered the trauma and the people who were there, and forget all the more trivial stuff, which is quite normal when a person has a traumatic experience.

Ford's testimony was full of holes and she lied under oath, if you say Kavanaugh lied about drinking excessively then Ford ALSO lied about multiple things and then Ford threw her friend under the bus and said she couldn't back up her story because she had medical issues and only followed up that by having her people pressure the friend into changing her statements to corroborate her allegations? What a crock of @#$# and no I don't believe her attempts at being feeble and afraid with the FAKE 12 year old voice
