Red label? I see that TO uses Seaguar ... what do the rest of you say?
I used seaguar up till 2 years ago I found sunline flouro and never looked back. love there stuff I use sunline sniper fc flouro
INVIZX is good.
THANKS for the help!!!
blue label...but +2 for the sunline sniper!!!
I am on my second and LAST spool of Seaguar Red, terrible memory and stiff for weight. Saying that it SUCKS would be a complement.
Sunline Sniper FTW!
1-Invizx
2-Abrasx for hard structure as it's harder to nick it.
3-Tatsu is really good, but very expensive.
4-Red label is their low budget line and it completely sucks...
Sunline Sniper FC is really good line but not so much to justify the costs if you're cost conscientious and change your line frequently. For comparison, a 200 yard spool of 12lb Seaguar Invisx is $16.99 at TW as opposed to $24.98 'on sale' for the same size spool of Sniper FC. Seaguar Invisx is great line for drop shotting, t-rigs, cranks, swimbaits, jerkbaits, Senkos etc. etc. 15lb Abrasx is what I use for my jig rods and it has an extra coating on it that helps prevent nicks in the line that cause breakage. Seaguar Tatsu is extremely supple, thin, strong and has very low memory but is really expensive. For casting I wouldn't recommend using Red Label as it's memory is horrible, but it would do fine for dragging trolling rigs around. 2-4lb Invisx is really great for Trout fishing. Sniper FC would be overkill as would Seaguar Tatsu...
I use the Invizx for leader in the surf with my fly rod. It is running along gritty/sandy bottom about 90% of the time and holds up really really well for multiple fish even if it gets raked up a bit with fish teeth.
