Any 'tubers been bass or Bluegill fishing recently?

Thought I'd ask.. Has anyone has been out in a float tube fishing any of our SoCal lakes this winter for the warmwater fish; bass, Bluegill, Redears and crappie? I managed to go out twice at Perris. I got a couple bass and a couple Bluegill. The trick is you have to find the groups of fish under the birds, and the birds (Grebes) have to be actively diving and feeding on the baitfish. The birds kept moving away from me. It's hard to follow them in a float tube.

So almost 800 views and not one single reply. So we have lots of shoppers, but no buyers. This tells me something about this site.
