Ok I'll share. Did some kayaking around shelter island. Launched at 6 am and nice weather. Flyfished for spotted bays and San Diego bay did not disappoint.

awesome dood, thanks for sharing WM!! just curious what your rod/reel setup is as i was thinking of flyfishing a few bays as well

I think it was the Bass Pro Set up Rod. Just a 5wt rod with sinking line. Orange and Black clousers seems to work the best. The rod is pretty much a throw away rod. Nothing really expensive. Just a simple setup
