Going to Lake Cachuma in 3 weeks, tips welcome!

Hi everyone,

We're going to hit lake Cachuma in 3 weeks for the weekend.
I've never been there and would welcome any tips you have that you can share, we have a kayak that we can fish off of or from the shore if weather conditions don't allow.
Hoping to catch something we can cook, like some Rainbow Trout or such..

Quick reply,haven’t fished there recently,but have always done well there fishing 3”single tail Yamamoto grubs,purple flake,pumpkin,ect... look forward to your report!
