Obviously it didn’t work out for you. Bummer. Real estate sucks. That’s probably why you rely on Obamacare.

No the business was great! (very successful!) I had the worst thing happen to me on a successful business that caused it to end. I lost my lease and I could not find a suitable site to move too! (I did try but finding a facility that would accommodate 120 children is no easy task!)
I didn't get to watch the Micheal Cohen hearing live today. (I was chasing Lighting trout at DVL) So I just watched the snip it's on Cable News and I think 1 point escaped most people. If you read my conspiracy theory (this thread) that Donald Trump may not leave office, even if he loses the 2020 Presidential election. Michael Cohen just verified that exact sentiment!!! He said, "If Donald Trump losses the 2020 election, there might not be a peaceful transition of power!" Which means in plain English, "He may refuse to leave the office of the Presidency!" (Re read the first portion of this thread, on how he could get away with it!)
Micheal Cohen is another knowledgeable source on how Donald Trump thinks, to collaborate my conspiracy theory of Trump becoming President for life! I would like to add some further information now becoming available since I wrote this piece. (forget the Russian collusion for now) Donald Trump is allegedly guilty of so many other crimes, is best defensive might be to stay in office till his death! For no sitting President can be charged and convicted while he is in the oval office!
Starting to make a little more sense now isn't it??? Especially since he is testing the water with his Emergency power declarations on the Border Wall! (if he can get away with that, why not declare the 2020 Presidential election Null & Void because of illegal voting, if he loses the election!)
I hope it never comes to this, but my theory is not only plausible but might now be very practical for Donald Trump! For once he's out of office, he's very susceptible to prosecution on many many charges!
He might not want to leave the office, but in order to stay, he would need a whole lot of help from people in powerful positions, and I don't think he will get that help. There is no precedent for a president of the United States having that kind of support, and he certainly isn't the one to have it.
About the job creation, I hate to rain on your parade, Eric, but basically, consumers create jobs, not business owners. The meme about "job creators" is another right wing myth. For example, if I were to start a business selling haggis (the Scottish food specialty made from assorted sheep organs), and hired a bunch of employees, nobody would want to buy it and I would go out of business quickly. Demand for a product basically creates jobs, and employers are sensitive to that demand, but they don't create it.
I dunno Lefty. Those Repubs are doubling down and circling the wagon and protecting him at all costs. So yes, he is receiving a whole lotta help from powerful positions.
Then again, he might go the Nixon route where his supporters put their eggs in one basket and suddenly got this:
Lefty, I see you have an natural weakness. You are a Fair and Honest person and those Republican Congressmen are not! What Mitch McConnell has done is totally unprecedented! Mitch McConnell has in effect become a employee of President Trump! The Legislative branch is a co equal branch of government. Yet Mitch has shown he won't do certain things if the President won't approve of the matter!
Remember Merrick Garland? It was totally unprecedented what Mitch did to him! Those Supreme Court seats are so important to Mitch, that do you think they could get 2/3 of the Senate to vote for conviction in an Impeachment trial and give the Presidency to a Democrat??? I don't think they would!! Mitch is "ALL IN" on those Supreme Court seats, so why would he quit now???
LOL I suspected you were really a demand sider, Eric, but you mentioned something about creating jobs earlier.
The issue with regard to Trump trying to stay in power, is quite different from that of him having support from Republicans in the current Congress or Republican voters. It would mean Trump having to have the military, and probably the FBI and CIA on his side, which they are not, and furthermore, it would mean risking a civil war and Republicans thus risking their lives. They would be willing to take a political stand for Trump, which probably costs them nothing given that they come from red districts or states basically, but I really doubt they would be willing to risk their lives in order to defy the Constitution and history just to help Trump hold onto power. Add to this, that taking that step would be a huge political liability which would likely make them lose their next elections, and I would say the chances of that happening are very slim. Remember when Republicans were predicting that Obama would declare martial law to postpone the 2016 election? Of course there was no serious thought of ever doing that, nor of Bush doing that in 2008, etc.
Here is a little bonus article, a 10 for the price of 1 job. The prediction that Obama would refuse to leave the office of the presidency is number 10 on the list (the last one). All of these predictions of course failed to materialize. http://www.rightwingwatch.org/post/1...ver-came-true/
