Lake Skinner is Mean and Green !

Took some friends to Lake Skinner and the algae is just awful!!! I've been to that lake many times and have never seen it so bad.Nobody on shore even got a bite all day.Even talked to a few guys in boats and they,too,didn't have any luck.Skinner had said they were going to blue stone the lake a few weeks ago to get rid of the algae but found out they didn't afterall.As long as there is all that gunk,all you catch is "green" wads.As you probably already know,algae makes it so light can't reach the beneficial plants in the lake that produce oxygen for the fish.Friend of mine called me the other day to say they had found 3 dead huge Bluegills floating by the shore.I sure hope they do something about this.Until then,I will change lakes.:Shocked:
