Dear Michelle...

I don't recall ever seeing a new member of FNN with as much gusto for being out on the water and hooking fish! I have spent the better part of my adult life taking people (especially kids) out fishing. You definitely seem to have that same level of passion for the fun and excitement. I was wondering what sort of tackle you need...or maybe I should ask what sort of tackle do you have. I have way too much and I would be happy to give you a few rods and reels if you think it would help you. Please let me know.

Hope all goes well with your Thyroid Biop,,, I have a Thyroid treatment Thursday morning, accupuncture, cupping and teas.

So how was the afternoon fishing? I read that you "walked the dog". Did you get any bites?

I read that shore fishing to the right of the main boat launch is a good area using white and red worms. Who knows, the more I read and the more pictures I see the more I'm hooked.

I too started fishing again in my forties and I LOVE IT!!!. If you are ever looking for a lady fishing buddy, I'm here.

Like you I've studied fishing on You Tube and do alot of reading about freshwater fishing. I know how to release a fish humanely. I also love to eat and smoke cold water fish, trout, salmon etc...

I even camped on my own for the first time in Mammoth and Big Bear, I'm not waiting for anyone to want to go fishing, I just go. (keeping it safe).
