i have my own boat,. i have a 15ft boston whaler. i used to fish skinner all the time but when they did not allow 2 strokes i stopped going. i used to fish the boils and mainly threw big trout plugs and poppers and never really bait fished too much. i have been catching them at the inlet on bait but thats the only place i know how to catch them. and they have all been very small. i caught a decent one a few weeks back when i saw some fish boiling. the ranger kicks you off the lake too early. i see some spots that go from 20 to 40 ft on the right side heading toward the inlet. is that where you fish. thanks.

Nice albums pictures. Your boat Fishfinder is easy to find stripers at Skinner, man. I wish a Skinner rental boat should have one fishfinder.

Bluegill... I didn't make it to Skinner on the 2nd. I fished Perris on the 3rd. The bluegill and redear are everywhere. Phong and I could have easily caught a 100, if we wanted to clean that many. I fished Skinner on the 7th. Seng, Phong, Larry and I got our limits of stripers by 11:00AM. I'm really looking foreward to fishing for gills there. We should all get together and fill our boats with the. I'll keep you posted and please, you do the same.
