GUIDELINES:
Do not feed the “trolls”
As defined by Wikipedia, a "Internet Troll" is “someone who intentionally posts controversial or contrary messages in an on-line community … with the intention of baiting users into an argumentative response.” Furthermore, “A troll is a person who approaches a board with the specific intention of stirring things up, either as a goal in and of itself or as a means of attacking the board perhaps motivated by opposition to the ethos of the board.”
DO NOT RESPOND TO THESE POSTS. Instead, send an email or private message to Fishing Network staff to point out such comments. Or you can simply wait until we become aware of the post via other means to remove it.
Proper, grammar, spelling and punctuation is appreciated.
While we are not the grammar and spelling police, please understand that posts written clearly and spelled correctly are more likely to be read and responded to than those with poor spelling and grammar. If you have trouble spelling, compose your messages in a word processor with a spell checker, or download and use the free Google Tool Bar or Firefox web browser, which have built-in spell-checking.
Avoid posting in ALL CAPS, which is considered to be shouting when writing online.
COMPLAINTS OR COMMENTS
Complaints or comments about the management of this forum and or its policies and performance should be directed to a member of the Fishing Network staff via a e-mail or personal message and not posted directly on the message boards.
GET INVOLVED!
While we wish we could be everywhere and see everything 24/7, that's not possible. We encourage our members to notify the Fishing Network staff via a "PM" (personal message) or by e-mail when they observe any rule violation on the board.
