Bluehunter, I am CatFishGuru from San Diego. I fish the local lakes (Otay and El Cap.) and want to fish the Imperial Valley and the River for my first flathead. Ihave caught humdreds of channels between 10-19.75lbs and cannot break 20lbs. I think my best shot is with live blugill, 80lb nylon braid and heavy gear.........Got any advice?
