M Street - Nov 14

Got out early to catch some smelt, but they were no where to be found. Instead I ended up with 4 calico bass and 2 Black Surfperch(correct me if I am wrong), using frozen anchovies and mussels. There were another two fisherman on the dock who also got a few bass, a mackerel and the senorita in the pic.

Those perch sure do fight like champs. Those ones are called buttermouth.
