Inflatable kayak question

I just bought my new kayak and i have been trying to figure out how to get some rod holders on it. There is no real area like on other kayaks to store a milk crate with some holders built on. Any ideas?

Take it back get your money and buy a pontoon boat. Sorry but I've never seen an inflatable kayak I liked, and I've seen a ton on the rivers of No Ca. They handle poorly and have lousy tracking. They are also very slow and hard to cover long distances. Sorry if that wasn't what you were looking for but that's my opinion.

Maybe he got the inflatable so he could fit it in a small car or space.

True that TJ, I don't want to sound like a d--k. there Hawkeye. I just don't like Inflatable kayaks to much.

inflatables are convenient and portable especially if you don't have much storage space or car racks or much opp to paddle. for fishing, i've rigged it with a milk crate w/pvc tied to its side to hold my rods and landing net. you can also "glue" some "d" rings on and strap/bungee your gear to it.

i have an advanced element convertible and it is a nice kayak for paddling - it's stable, tracks well and is surprisingly fast. i also have a hobie outback. the ae convertible paddles much better than the outback.

Thanks for all the suggestions. As for why i got it is that i have no way to transport a real YAK. Also i live in an apartment with no garage or real storage so unless i want a huge kayak in the middle of the dinning room it just doesnt work for me. Also i have an ocean inflatable. So far it works great and i really like it. I got a pontoon but i found that there are just too many large parts and it would take up my entire back seat when all taken apart. Also the fact that i only have so much time to go fishing that putting it all together and taking it apart was really a pain. Also i cancover a lot more ground in my inflatable than in my pontoon.
