Anyone fished the shoes latley? Have a party on Sat. and the wife said it ok to fish for some taco meat Fri. Wondering how's the bottom fishing there or does anyone know some better local spots for rockfish.

Check out the recent NBU report. They went on the Victory for a 3/4 day and fished 350ft of water :shock: Looks like they caught rockfish and some almost legal lings.

correction...we made a few drifts in the deep stuff......it was pretty good...look for the enterprise on the outside... i think they have been fishing the deep stuff mostly.....a majority of the day we fished in about 90 feet of water, that is where all the lings came from.....right outside the shoe....and hard bottom area....
