The weight limit says 250lbs max.
I weight 240 am I too big for it.
I could lose a cple pounds here n there which I plan on.
I don't pack alot of crap just curious the next step up is another 150 and out of my price range.
If I get to 230lb will I be ok in it?
I hear this is a great boat any suggestions......

I think you'd be a little too big for this tube. You'd be way close to the sticky part of that envelop if the max is 250.
If you're 230, then add clothes, wader, lifevest, rod and reel, tackle. It'd be damn close to the max.
I think the ODC version of the fish cat has more floation. Check it out.
My cousin is in the same boat. Big guy that wants to float tube.

Grab one of the big Caddis tubes if the super fat cat is out of your price range. They're only roughly $130 or so I think.
You don't want to ride around in a tube too close to the weight limit. You'll ride lower to the water (slower and wetter) and you'll probably fill up the extra weight with gear (waders, tackle, rods and holder, fins booties.. etc. Plus everything is heavier when wet!)

With added weight limit, extra gear will be no prob. Anchor, Fish finder w/ battery, a small cooler for brew, lunch and bait.. etc.
