I was extremely sick on this day but needed to get out in the sun. I used my Blue Yonder 7000 by Abu Garcia spooled with 380yd of 50lb braid. My longest cast this day using a 3oz bank was 103.5m. Since this day i upped that to 158m using a 4oz bank on a 11ft surf rod. If i switch to a 13' or 14' rod i'm sure i could increase the range again and using heavier banks will also help.
