Fished marble fork from lodgepole to the tokopah falls, beautiful hike, and managed several of all three species of trout. All caught using a handmade spinner with a single barbless fly hook on the back. Going to try for my first fly rod trout today.

Beautiful fish. Good luck on the fly.

Somehow I've never caught a brook trout during all my time in the sierras.

The Marble Fork is one of my favorite fishing streams. Last time I was there, a few years ago, we caught multiple fish of all 3 species from the same pool. Crescent Creek is also super good, but it only has Brookies. There are several other relatively accessible creeks in the area that have trout as well, but I am not as familiar with them. I did fish the Middle Fork of the Kaweah once farther down the highway, and hooked a Rainbow Trout on a fly, but it came off before I got it in.
