I was out on my jetski on 7-3-20 and noticed there was still quite a lot of fishermen on the water even with it been a busy day.
What's everyone going for nowadays?
How's the bass fishing haven't seen a report on it in a while?
I know its post spawn, but are they still hitting in the shallows?
If so, on what?
I'm considering hitting the lake in the evenings during the week since I'm only 5 min from it.
So I'd be fishing from shore between the hours of 530pm to 800pm

Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I don't fish Perris during the summer because of the Jet skis.

I have moved up to No Cal but fished Perris a lot when I was down there. Before the dam renovation. East end was shallow and the bass seemed to move towards the dam. Bernasconi, There is the road the road that leads down to the water from the parking lot and continues into the lake. Fish 20-25 feet with plastics on my float tube and stay inside of the buoys are you are a target for sea doos. Don't know much about shore fishing. Shoreline would stay along the climbing mountain and head over towards the dam

Thanks,

I think the bass are out in deeper water at this time ..... that said, at the hour you'll be fishing some could move up shallower within range of the shore .... the north shoreline in the east end of the lake might work ..... not too far from that bank the water drops off into a channel and there are trees there ...... plastic worms are always a good bet .... try split-shotting ... or you could throw chatterbait or small crank, but beware of the snags ..... good luck ....
