Got my *** handed to me today.
lost the drag nut on my 3wt reel today so put it out of commission. Was fishing the new 8wt all day.
got some spiffy flies that glow In UV light I guess because trout see UV light. Still didn’t help me.
the guy at the fly shop said I’d probably be able to find some fish but no such luck from shore.
it’s a big mean river and it will kill you if you disrespect it. The fish are likely all over but spread out. Frys clear water and very deep. Saw huge blue crawfish in there the size of my foot.
