The LMB ate this DOA glow in the dark fork tail on a 1/8th oz jig head.. pop pop, pause, pop, pause - along the bottom in 3’ of super clear and warm water near the edge of a dock. I saw some needle fish interested in the bait and creating surface boils above it so I decide to twitch it a few more times and mess with them. SWOOP mr Largie clone enters the scene and eats before staging an exit, at which time I lifted the tip on my new 7’6” braided saltwater combo and set the heezy. Mofo ran for da dock and I had to throw the combo out over the railing and put some effort into him to keep him away from the pilings. All like clockwork. Battle right in front of five people.. all non fisherman.. viewing the manatees. They were in shock lol. Probably won’t fish there again.. don’t want to wreck everyone’s day catching fishes out from under the peaceful sea cows. Good times and memories to bring back home for later.
love ya’ll.

Pro tip:
keep some dental rubber bands to hold your plastics on your jig heads better. This may or may not effect the action of the bait, depending on the weight of the jig head. In this case, not so much.

Pro Pro tip:
Store said dental bands on your wacky senko rigging tool with your o-rings.

Great job TJ. We used to catch largies with specks and reds in Texas and Louisiana in brackish water when I was a kid. Keep the post coming. Brings back great memories
