Took the morning half day boat Patriot, nothing special to report. Everyone caught bottom fish. The crew and captain were outstanding. Newport landing, on the Patriot at least, is a good choice to use with people that are new to sportfishing. A warning ... parking is way bad. Get there early and if you drive a truck, use the beach parking a couple of blocks east of the landing.
