have they stocked trout??? I want to either try out Big Bear for the trout or else Skinner for cat fish, but like I posted it has been a long while since I've been out.

Go to Big Bear for trout, just troll around west of the observatory to the dam area and back. If you have a lead core setup, troll needle fish or Thomas Boyants, or small Rapala’s. I have also caught a lot of trout just trolling the same baits above, using just a spinning rod setup with mono. This time of year the trout are down 5’to 15’ so the lead core or downrigger is the way to go. The only thing is the BBMWD charges $25 a day for a lake permit, or $110 for the year.
