Shimano SLX combo or SLX XT??

I just ordered the new Shimano SLX combo. Has anyone tried it or the SLX reel? I wanted to wait for the SLX XT, with the external brake adjustment, but I got such a good deal on the combo I couldn't resist. I'll post my thoughts after I fish with it for a few weeks.

Be happy with what you have. It's a very usable combo. The new SLX DC is due out soon, and at $189 it should be a hum-dinger.
