I think you are referring to Mike Hart? Got busted at the US Open at Mead with weights in his bass. Ruined him, that guy won lots of money before that

I've known of folk catching big fish on Senkos and other generic baits, then sticking their sponsor's bait in their mouth for the photo op. I was so naive back in the day wondering how perfectly the bait was sticking right outside the fish's mouth, with only 1 hook of the 2 trebles in there.

If he had waited a few years, he could've been on someone's Pro Staff!
