My boat is 20 yrs old and the wood filler that was used years ago was not sealed. So I got marine plywood and resin and rebuilt it. It was sooooo much fun

Great looking job!! How do You like that ETEC? I have a 06 ETEC ETEC and have never had a problem with it. I only run my boat at DVL, Perris or the River and not the Tenesee!!! How much work was that job? My boat is a 1999 Smokercraft 162 Pro Mag one of only three that I have seen over the years in Southern California.

My e-tec is awesome. Fuel consumption is incredbile, honestly most people have no idea how good it is till they get one. Its quiet, fast and gets my boat up on plane quick. Best investment I have ever made. The transom rebuild was a project and I knew that going into it, but it had to be done. I miss DVL at times, I had some good times with my friends out there. Fishing out here is the way it should be, no hours, no gates, no boat inspections. I live 45 seconds from the lauch ramp. 1 minute if I have to wait at the left hand turn lane.

That is some nice restoration work! Looks like this is not your first rodeo working on older boats
