Took the boat out again yesterday. Since the kids are out of school, dragged them along as well. Threw the swimbait in the east end over several rock piles for nothing. Threw a Neko rigged worm out and snagged a 2 1/2 pounder in about 15 feet of water. Should be an excellent spawn in the next 6 to 8 weeks!

I took the kayak out yesterday and didn't catch anything. I figured I wouldn't but wanted to at least get on the water. I pretty much just explored the east and south east end of the lake. Lot's of interesting shallower water with some deeper areas in spots. I guess the reason why according to lakesonline the water level hasn't risen much lately as it's currently expanding.
