Went out @9am, 1 bite - 1 fish. Pretty much dead out there. others struggling as well. brush all the way to 25-27 feet. Found no shad nor school of fish. Maybe the shad are deeper than I was looking (up to 40). Maybe they are in the brush. Spring looks encouraging and a great spawn. next time will try DVL.
