I have been wanting to catch some type some crappie and bluegill from Perris for awhile. Today I finally made the effort to not revert to bass fishing. Took my 8 year old out and we got 3 nice ones between 8-9" on redworms in about 23 feet of water. Moved to another spot that was only 18 feet deep and caught a couple more but they were only about 5-6" so those we threw back. One thing I learned is I need more practice filleting things, forst time I have done it in over 25 years.
