Fished Little Lakes Valley with limited success. Many hits but mostly short strikes, misses. Did much better on a small creek - hungry, aggressive fish. Mix of browns with an occasional rainbow and brook.

Great weather - a little warm during the day (up to high 90s in the valley) but cooled off nicely at night. Wind was perfect.

Tons of hoppers out right now, trout are gorging on them.

Awesome job carp dood, indeed they are getting better. Some of the most breathtaking country up in that lil valley...funny how the browns like the creek, but struggle to compete in the lakes. Although I have seen nessie lurking in a few....maybe it was megladon?? Dry drop the inlets and you'll be on them all day...As always, thanks for taking us along.

I think its time to dust off the whisperlite and hunt for brown october
